Online learning presents a unique opportunity for students seeking alternate pathways to a high school diploma. The goal of our online charter high school is to address the diverse learning needs of our students in grades 9-12 and offer a variety of opportunities to students on the Paradise Ridge, in Butte County and in our surrounding counties -- Colusa, Glenn, Plumas, Sutter, Tehama and Yuba.
Traditional classroom experience is not for every student -- some thrive, while others never engage. At Paradise eLearning Charter School, we provide individualized instruction that motivates and engages our students. We address diverse student needs, varied levels of proficiency and different learning styles with a combination of online learning, independent study and direct interaction with credentialed teachers.
Online students may also participate in athletics, student activities, and elective and specialized classes at Paradise High School.
Health News: For 2011 school year only, all students entering grades 7-12 will need proof of an adolescent whooping cough booster shot (Tdap) before starting school.
